Black Bird Sings

Singing a resonant melody of dark colors, these round and ruffled, gently reflexed 5 ½ inch flowers are a rich grape violet toned in a matte finish. Accentuating the delicately inscribed dimensional ribs (costate) is a curious frosty pattern. The erect 34 inch scapes display wide 3 to 4 way branching above the deep green foliage. Fertile both ways.
