This alien recalls a fond memory of Steve Moldovan, who upon seeing this for the first time exclaimed “My God Hanson, what have you done!” Indeed it has been fun watching the mixed reactions (from fascination to fear and loathing) to this flower. While I hesitate to recommend Sigourney for it’s garden merit, this portentous permutation will appeal primarily to the daring hybridizer willing to explore unknown terrain. Altough you will earn any seed you get, the limited number I have bloomed show a tendency to inherit this aberration. Sigourney promises to become a catalyst towards dramatic sculptural forms we are just beginning to imagine.
